Sunday in Hell<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Paris\u2013Roubaix is one of the prime candidates for the title of the coolest race in the whole world, but it is also one of the hardest and least forgiving. No-one knows this better than Fabian Cancellara, three-time winner of this magnificent classic, who tried to get his fourth title yesterday. Unfortunately, he fell four times and finished 7 minutes and 35 seconds behind Mat Hayman, the surprising winner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just happy it\u2019s over,\u201d said the 35-year-old, before describing the crashes. \u201cThere was a crash, I jumped into the field and came back, the second one was a bit unlucky, and the third one was just ice-skating. Then it was over and I couldn\u2019t do anything. Roubaix was gone. The damage was too big and Roubaix was over.\u201d Cancellara even fell after the race, when he rode towards his fans to greet them. What a day!<\/p>\n
