Sagan took Flanders<\/strong><\/h2>\n

World champion Peter Sagan won the 2016 Ghent-Wevelgem and finally got the long-awaited first place, wearing the rainbow jersey. The 26-year-old wasn\u2019t worried because of his many second places, though.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy would I panic? In life there\u2019s more important things than victories or second places. I\u2019m riding for passion, not for ambition,\u201d said Peter and dedicated his victory to Antoine Demoiti\u00e9 and Daan Myngheer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis victory is for the two guys who died last week. Also my team-mate Maciej Bodnar. He had a bad crash yesterday in training and didn\u2019t start today. I hope he comes back as early as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
