Would you like this Santa to bring you presents?<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Glasgow to Become Mini Holland?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Plans for changing the North of the Clyde city district into bike friendly place are supposed to be funded from Sustrands Scotland\u2019s Community Links fund, but Edinburgh and Inverness are also in the race for the \u00a312m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-137027\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2016\/03\/profimedia-0256186887-600x408.jpg\" alt=\"Buchanan Street in Glasgow, Scotland\" width=\"600\" height=\"408\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Mini-Holland has the potential to bring about a step change in cycling provision in the Woodside area. A complete network of Dutch-style segregated cycleways, complemented by filtered permeability on the back streets, would be truly transformative. It\u2019s vital that this is the high standard to which the work is done. Unfortunately, the scheme is competing with a number of others across Scotland. The Scottish Government has decided that only one or two will be funded. I\u2019ve no interest in seeing Edinburgh or anywhere else denied its own safe cycling infrastructure; the Scottish Government should fund every single one of the \u201cexemplar\u201d schemes by reallocating money from its bloated road-building programme,\u201d said one of the campaigners for road.cc.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think about this plan? Yes, Please!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BDJLrdMilvx\/?taken-by=wlcmagazine\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BDJLrdMilvx\/?taken-by=wlcmagazine<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Small company in Ghana is using renewable materials to create very cool bamboo bikes and that\u2019s all we need to know to seriously want one. You kind of want one too, right? Read more info about it &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/blog\/136989\/green-and-hot-bamboo-bikes-from-ghana\/\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Two Bike Shops Ram-raided in a Single Night<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A possible co-ordinated attack happened a couple of nights ago in two bike shops \u2013 Specialized Concept store in Nottingham and Chesterfield Cycle Centre. We are also asking people to look out for these bikes \u2013 which are quite unique in appearance &#8211; particularly on selling sites. If you hear of anyone attempting to sell such a bike, we would like to hear from you,\u201d said det.
