Bouhanni, who had originally won, was relegated by the commissaires to third place, and the stage win went to Michael Matthews. Anyways, how the heck did they manage to stay upright?!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Kelly McGarry Tribute<\/strong><\/h2>\n<lite-youtube videoid=cbbfkVtnCAQ params=\"enablejsapi=1\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi_webp\/cbbfkVtnCAQ\/maxresdefault.webp');\"><\/lite-youtube>\n<p>On February 1st, 2016, the legendary mountain biker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/blog\/133310\/kelly-mcgarry-passed-away\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kelly McGarry sadly passed away<\/a>. In October 2015, during his final competitive event \u2013 the 2015 Red Bull Rampage, a film crew spent 72 hours with \u2019McGazza\u2019 to create an intimate portrait, which is to be released under the name Peaking: Rampage. You can watch the trailer in the video above.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Booby trapped bike trails<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There have been a number of insidious attacks on cyclists lately. We\u2019ve informed you about the verdict on the \u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/blog\/136696\/war-in-the-woods-65-year-old-retiree-sabotaging-mtb-trails\/\" target=\"_blank\">War in the Woods<\/a>\u2019 case, but that was a trifle in comparison with what has been found on a Kent cycle trail.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Nightmare. It was neatly cut and stretched tight.\u00a0I was shocked. I felt like I had a lucky escape. It didn&#8217;t look like the work of kids, it was so tidy. I don&#8217;t really understand why people do this sort of thing. I normally come the other way down the hill but I had decided to do it in reverse. I would have been going at 20 mph and I would never have seen it. I would never have stood a chance.\u00a0It was something out of Mad Max.
