I also love the efficiency of road biking.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Four years is a long time to be cycling!\u00a0What was your biggest challenge?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Loneliness, boredom, and doubt over whether I could ever achieve the goal as well as trying to make \u00a37000 last for four years!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2016\/02\/how-many-roads-have-i-forgotten_8044685533_o.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-133799\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2016\/02\/how-many-roads-have-i-forgotten_8044685533_o-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"I wanted to do something massive, difficult and exciting, but also simple and cheap and achievable to a non-expert.\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>After all that do you still love cycling?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t for a while, but now I enjoy being on my road bike again. I enjoy mountain biking and I enjoy the chaos of dodging taxis and buses on the London streets.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Would you do it again and would you recommend the experience?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I wouldn&#8217;t do it again.
