That is just too much to let it be. So we decided to raise attention and arrange the first European Bike Stealing Championship.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-132189\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/11\/bs_web_950x350-in-numbers1-600x221.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"221\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our bait bike was stolen in Amsterdam in 22 minutes, but there are more interesting data and curiosities\u00a0about bike\u00a0thefts\u00a0in Europe. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/blog\/132181\/european-bike-stealing-championships-in-numbers\/\" target=\"_blank\">Let\u2019s see our infographics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our ambition is not to stop the thefts, but there are lot of things you can do to make the thief\u2019s life as hard as possible &#8211; buying a good lock, registering your bike,\u00a0paying attention when buying from the second hand\u00a0shops and much more.
