Richard Gasperotti \u2013 biker, artist, and adventurer \u2013 is not one to follow the crowd. Whether he\u2019s carrying his bike up an active volcano or designing cycling gloves with his own prints, he dives in with full intensity. For him, mountain biking is about more than sport \u2013 it\u2019s about freedom, creativity, and pushing boundaries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBig mountain biking is the pinnacle of cycling for me,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s about returning to the raw mountains, where there are no paths unless you make them.\u201d Richard compares himself to a painter using the landscape as his canvas and his bike as the brush. \u201cSome people see cycling as moving from start to finish on a set course. I\u2019ve always been more interested in where I ride, why I ride, and who I ride with than in performance or results. For me, the bike is a tool for self-expression,\u201d says the biker whose great-grandfather, a painter from Rovereto, Italy, once decorated church interiors across the Trentino region.<\/p>\n
