Last year brought us groundbreaking performances from established heavyweights and emerging stars, a heightened focus on sustainability, and the cycling community\u2019s response to global challenges.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

From pro tours to local commutes, 2024 reaffirmed cycling\u2019s place as a cornerstone of active living, green transportation, and a place where female and male athletes continue to push boundaries. As we look to the year ahead, several trends and aspirations are set to shape the sport and culture of cycling. From incorporating new technology to expanding the sport\u2019s inclusivity, here are the resolutions for cycling we think will define 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sustainability takes centre stage<\/b><\/h2>\n

Cycling has long been synonymous with eco-consciousness, but 2025 promises an even greater emphasis on sustainability. Major events like the Tour de France have led the charge with initiatives to reduce waste and implement carbon-neutral practices.
