Start your ride from Alhaurin el Grande, a charming town nestled among the hills in the heart of the Costa del Sol. As you cycle towards Antequera, you will pass through several beautiful towns such as Cartama and Pizarra, each providing a unique view of Andalusian culture and lifestyle.<\/p>\n

On day one, plan to cover about 40 kilometers (25 miles) to reach the halfway point at Pizarra. Here, you’ll find several family-friendly accommodations for your overnight stay. On day two, continue your journey towards Antequera, a city known for its rich history and stunning architecture, including ancient dolmens (prehistoric burial mounds), the Alcazaba of Antequera, and the impressive El Torcal Natural Park. The route contains several inclines, so it’s more suitable for older children or teenagers.
