Fred Wright is a British professional cyclist, originally from southeast London, currently riding for Team Bahrain Victorious, which recruited him in 2019. He began his career as a track cyclist, winning a gold medal in the team pursuit at the 2018 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

During his road cycling career, for example, Wright won stage four of the 2020 Giro d’Italia Virtual, came first in the 2021 National Under-23 Championships, and 2022 marked his breakthrough year as he took top-10s in both the Tour de France and the Tour of Flanders. So far in his career, he has shown his talent in both one-day races and stage races, and is considered a rising star in the sport with sprint as his speciality.<\/p>\n
