Teraz z\u00a0toho vypl\u00fdva jedna ot\u00e1zka: &#8222;Ktor\u00e9 zvoli\u0165 a\u00a0pre\u010do?&#8220;<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>V\u00a0princ\u00edpe je brzda v\u017edy brzdou, \u010di u\u017e ide o\u00a0kot\u00fa\u010dov\u00fa alebo r\u00e1fkov\u00fa. Ide toti\u017e o\u00a0brzdu, ktor\u00e1 vyv\u00edja brzdn\u00fa silu pr\u00e1ve tren\u00edm brzdov\u00fdch \u0161pal\u00edkov o\u00a0r\u00e1fik kolies &#8211; tak predn\u00e9ho, ako aj zadn\u00e9ho. Naproti tomu kot\u00fa\u010dov\u00e9 brzdy vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa \u201eexterne\u201c umiestnen\u00e9 kot\u00fa\u010de &#8211; to znamen\u00e1, \u017ee brzdov\u00e9 do\u0161ti\u010dky sa nedost\u00e1vaj\u00fa do styku s\u00a0r\u00e1fikom, ale s\u00a0kovov\u00fdmi kot\u00fa\u010dmi, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa umiestnen\u00e9 priamo na n\u00e1boji kolesa. V\u00a0z\u00e1sade ide o\u00a0obdobn\u00fd princ\u00edp u\u00a0oboch prevedeniach &#8211; brzdn\u00fd materi\u00e1l trie o\u00a0brzdn\u00fa plochu. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Odli\u0161n\u00e9 druhy kot\u00fa\u010dov\u00fdch b\u0155zd<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Zatia\u013e \u010do r\u00e1fikov\u00e9 brzdy s\u00fa v\u00a0princ\u00edpe jednotn\u00e9, vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00face takmer v\u00fdlu\u010dne prenos energie z\u00a0p\u00e1ky na \u010deluste prostredn\u00edctvom oce\u013eov\u00e9ho lanka, u\u00a0kot\u00fa\u010dov\u00fdch b\u0155zd m\u00e1te na v\u00fdber z\u00a0dvojice mo\u017enost\u00ed. Pov\u00e4\u010d\u0161ine lacnej\u0161ou mo\u017enos\u0165ou s\u00fa kot\u00fa\u010dov\u00e9 brzdy s\u00a0rovnako lankov\u00fdm syst\u00e9mom. \u010castej\u0161ie vyu\u017e\u00edvanou alternat\u00edvou, ktor\u00e1 sa osved\u010dila aj v\u00a0tak n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00fdch podmienkach, ako je horsk\u00e1 cyklistika, je <strong>hydraulick\u00e9 prevedenie<\/strong>. To znamen\u00e1, \u017ee v\u00a0hadi\u010dke (resp. bowdene) sa nach\u00e1dza namiesto lanka kvapalina. Ke\u010f\u017ee jej trenie vo vn\u00fatri hadi\u010dky je takmer nulov\u00e9, jazdec potrebuje vyv\u00edja\u0165 men\u0161iu silu na rovnak\u00fd brzdn\u00fd efekt brzdy s\u00a0lankov\u00fdm syst\u00e9mom.
