\u00d6ver 2 100 cyklister ans\u00f6kte om en plats till 2018 \u00e5rs \u0160koda Cycling Team. Konkurrensen var tuffare \u00e4n n\u00e5gonsin och intresset rekordstort. Nu har 15 starka och motiverade motion\u00e4rer handplockats – och tillsammans representerar de \u0160koda Cycling Team 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2013 Uttagningen har varit en rolig men tuff utmaning , det finns s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga starka individer och h\u00e4rliga personligheter bland ans\u00f6kningarna som var och en skulle platsa i laget. Nu k\u00e4nner vi att vi har ett v\u00e4ldigt intressant och inspirerande lag med en geografisk spridning fr\u00e5n norr till s\u00f6der, s\u00e4ger teamansvarige Erik Leonsson.<\/p>\n

Intresset f\u00f6r \u0160koda Cycling Team har vuxit rekordsnabbt. Sedan premi\u00e4r\u00e5ret 2014 har intresset \u00f6kat stort och i \u00e5r ans\u00f6kte fler \u00e4n 2 100 personer till de 15 rekrytplatserna som tillsammans med lika m\u00e5nga ambassad\u00f6rer har som m\u00e5l att tillsammans cykla runt V\u00e4tternrundan p\u00e5 mindre \u00e4n \u00e5tta timmar.<\/p>\n

Det 30 personer starka laget best\u00e5r f\u00f6rutom de nya rekryterna av 15 ambassad\u00f6rer som bidrar med b\u00e5de cykelerfarenhet och motivation, bland annat triatleten Lisa Nord\u00e9n och tidigare proffscyklisten Fredrik Kessiakoff.
\n– Det \u00e4r fantastiskt inspirerande att se det stora intresset f\u00f6r \u0160koda Cycling Team och det genuina cykelintresset som finns i v\u00e5rt land. Vi \u00e4r oerh\u00f6rt glada \u00f6ver att se s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga ans\u00f6kningar, och \u00e4ven om konkurrensen \u00e4r stentuff vill jag uppmana de som inte blev uttagna i \u00e5r att s\u00f6ka igen till n\u00e4sta \u00e5r. Vi f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker varje \u00e5r variera gruppens dynamik och personer som inte blev antagna i \u00e5r kan mycket v\u00e4l bli det n\u00e4sta, s\u00e4ger Erik Gustafsson, press- och sponsoransvarig f\u00f6r \u0160koda Sverige.<\/p>\n

2018 \u00e5rs \u0160koda Cycling Team best\u00e5r av cyklister fr\u00e5n Ume\u00e5 i norr, \u00d6land i \u00f6ster och Malm\u00f6 i s\u00f6der. I laget kombineras dessutom idrottsprestationer fr\u00e5n absoluta toppklass i form av exempelvis Tomas Gustafson – skridsko\u00e5kare och trefaldig OS-guldmedalj\u00f6r – med ett stort cykelintresse hos starka motion\u00e4rer, bland annat fr\u00e5n musikern Daniel Adams Ray.<\/p>\n

Allt f\u00f6r att maximera prestationen inf\u00f6r \u00e5rets V\u00e4tternrunda.<\/p>\n
