Svenska Cykelf\u00f6rbundet v\u00e4xlar upp inom den snabbt v\u00e4xande grenen E-cycling. Tillsammans med \u0160koda Sverige, ny officiell partner till f\u00f6rbundets E-cycling, arrangeras SWE Cup, SM och ett antal sociala event inom virtuell cykling 2021. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 F\u00f6rbundet ser stora m\u00f6jligheter i att utveckla E-cycling, som \u00e4r en av f\u00e5 sporter som p\u00e5g\u00e5tt i princip som vanligt under pandemin. Samarbetet med \u0160koda g\u00f6r att vi f\u00e5r \u00f6kade m\u00f6jligheter att forts\u00e4tta utveckla verksamheten och locka fler till sporten, s\u00e4ger Conny Bj\u00f6rnehall, ordf\u00f6rande E-cycling p\u00e5 Svenska Cykelf\u00f6rbundet.<\/p>\n

Sverige ligger l\u00e5ngt fram inom E-cycling och har n\u00e5gra av v\u00e4rldens b\u00e4sta cyklister p\u00e5 b\u00e5de dam- och herrsidan. SCF arrangerar redan ett antal t\u00e4vlingar inom b\u00e5de landsv\u00e4g och MTB p\u00e5 online-plattformen Zwift, som idag har en miljon anv\u00e4ndare globalt. SWE Cup 2020 lockade 500-700 cyklister per lopp, och intresset v\u00e4ntas v\u00e4xa till 2021. En resa som det cyklande bilvarum\u00e4rket \u0160koda g\u00e4rna \u00e4r med p\u00e5.<\/p>\n

\u2013 \u00adVi vet att E-cycling betyder mycket f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga detta utmanande \u00e5r, och vi vill jobba f\u00f6r att fler hittar till den virtuella cyklingen. Med \u0160kodas bakgrund och engagemang inom cykel k\u00e4nns det sj\u00e4lvklart att vi \u00e4r med n\u00e4r en ny gren v\u00e4xer fram, s\u00e4ger Veronica Nilsson, Press- och sponsoransvarig p\u00e5 \u0160koda<\/p>\n

Stark koppling till cykel<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u0160koda Sverige \u00e4r tidigare aktiva inom svensk cykling genom \u0160koda Cycling Team, ett initiativ d\u00e4r rutinerade cyklister bildar lag med motion\u00e4rer f\u00f6r att cykla runt V\u00e4ttern. Ut\u00f6ver V\u00e4tternrundan \u00e4r \u0160koda ocks\u00e5 huvudsponsor till Tour de France och Giro di\u2019Italia, och n\u00e4r bolaget grundades \u00e5r 1895 i Tjeckien var det inledningsvis just cyklar som tillverkades. P\u00e5 samma adress i Mlada Boleslav bygger \u0160koda idag en miljon bilar varje \u00e5r.<\/p>\n

\u0160koda blir officiell partner f\u00f6r Svenska Cykelf\u00f6rbundets E-cycling 2021, vilket innefattar sponsorskap f\u00f6r SWE Cup, SM och ett antal sociala event i form av virtuell gruppcykling. \u00c5rets upplaga av SWE Cup k\u00f6rs i tio omg\u00e5ngar med start den 4 januari.<\/p>\n
