Terwijl de wielerwereld al voorzichtig vooruitblikt op de 2018-editie van Le Tour, dachten wij dat je het misschien leuk zou vinden om eens terug te kijken naar waar de sport in eerste jaren allemaal om draaide. Geen vermogensmeters, geen radio\u2019s, geen Eurosport, geen \u2018rode auto\u2019. Deze foto’s zijn puur wielrennen.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Een controversieel moment helpt Roger Lapebie (rechts op de foto) aan de eindoverwinning in de editie van 1937 van de Tour de France. Lapebie weet hier een spoorwegovergang over te steken waar zijn achtervolgers vervolgens moeten wachten. Ze worden tegengehouden door een trein waardoor de Fransman een beslissende voorsprong krijgt.<\/p>\n
