There\u2019s a long list of benefits to getting on your bike and putting the miles in \u2013 from the physical benefits to peace of mind, and from the breath-taking sights and sounds you\u2019ll encounter to the feeling of accomplishment when you\u2019re finally stepping out of the saddle. <\/p>\n

GREAT WESTERN GREENWAY

Already one of the most stunning routes in the country, the move by the Mulranny Park Hotel to create their \u201cGourmet Greenway\u201d was, with pun entirely intended, the icing on the cake. Working with 18 local producers to showcase the best artisan products in the area, it\u2019s the ideal way to round off the 43km trip which stretches from Westport to Achill Island; once you\u2019ve taken your bike for the awe-inspiring tour, you can do the very same for your tastebuds!<\/p>\n

WATERFORD GREENWAY

This scenic stretch of the sunny south-east links Waterford city with Dungarvan \u2013 and it\u2019s moving in that direction that the discerning diner would be well advised to go! While the beauty of the Copper Coast will delight from the saddle, there might be no sight more welcoming than what awaits when you dismount in the seaside town\u2019s Georgian culinary quarter, where award-winning eateries aplenty will deliver a refuelling beyond your wildest dreams! We recommend checking out Coach House Coffee<\/a>! Mid way along the greenway route, this is the perfect cycling pit-stop.<\/p>\n
