Ha a betegs\u00e9g s\u00falyosbodik, nem alkoholos steatohepatitisnek (NASH) nevezik, \u00e9s m\u00e1jduzzanathoz \u00e9s m\u00e1jk\u00e1rosod\u00e1shoz vezethet.<\/p>\n<p>Az American Liver Association szerint k\u00f6r\u00fclbel\u00fcl 4-b\u0151l 1 ember szenved NASH-ban, legt\u00f6bbj\u00fck 40 \u00e9s 60 \u00e9v k\u00f6z\u00f6tti. A betegs\u00e9ggel k\u00fczd\u0151k legfeljebb egynegyed\u00e9n\u00e9l alakul ki hegesed\u00e9s a m\u00e1jban, ami sokszor csak szerv\u00e1t\u00fcltet\u00e9ssel orvosolhat\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Egy 2018-as tanulm\u00e1ny becsl\u00e9se szerint az NAFLD el\u0151fordul\u00e1si ar\u00e1nya 2015 \u00e9s 2030 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt 21%-kal emelkedhet, m\u00edg a NASH ugyanebben az id\u0151szakban ak\u00e1r 63%-kal is.
