\u00bfQu\u00e9 es Cycle Chic?<\/h2>\n

Cycle Chic surge como una reivindicaci\u00f3n, la normalizaci\u00f3n del uso de la bicicleta no como deporte sino como transporte con estilo. Obviando el uso de ropa deportiva (maillots y culottes), Cycle Chic promueve el desplazamiento con ropa de calle como una declaraci\u00f3n de estilo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El t\u00e9rmino Cycle Chic fue acu\u00f1ado por el canadisense-dan\u00e9s\u00a0Mikael Colville-Andersen<\/strong> en su blog\u00a0Copenhagen Cycle Chic<\/a> alrededor de 2007. La\u00a0primera foto hecha por \u00e9l fue bautizada como “La foto que lanz\u00f3 un mill\u00f3n de bicis” por el impacto motivador que tuvo en la comunidad ciclista y por ser el detonante de la creaci\u00f3n de su blog.<\/p>\n

La repercusi\u00f3n de este blog fue tal que en numerosas ciudades de otras partes del planeta se han creado blogs espec\u00edficos con fotos de ciclistas urbanos con estilo<\/strong> o, simplemente, usando la bici como una parte m\u00e1s de sus vidas sin que ello implique renunciar a su manera de vestir.<\/p>\n

De este modo podemos encontrar Cycle Chic en Amsterdam, Toronto, Berl\u00edn, Barcelona o Valencia, entre muchas otras.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 se necesita para ser Cycle Chic?<\/h2>\n

Si bien no hay reglas claramente definidas, hay una serie de puntos que te otorgan m\u00e1s posibilidades de ser considerado Cycle Chic.<\/p>\n

En general vestir de manera elegante o a la moda puede ser suficiente<\/strong>, pero tambi\u00e9n se tienen en cuenta accesorios y complementos como los bolsos llamativos, las flores y el uso de tejidos naturales como el algod\u00f3n o la lana.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a la bicicleta, se valora muy positivamente el uso de bicis de paseo antiguas tipo holand\u00e9s<\/strong> con cambios y frenos en el buje, los pi\u00f1ones fijos, las cestas de mimbre, los sillines de cuero, los guardabarros o el portabultos trasero. Llevar a alguien detr\u00e1s sentado de lado tambi\u00e9n es considerado un plus, aunque est\u00e1 prohibido en algunos lugares. Las marcas m\u00e1s carism\u00e1ticas a\u00f1aden cach\u00e9, con casos como las Schwinn o las Raleigh.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ciudades espa\u00f1olas que son Cycle Chic<\/h2>\n

El movimiento tiene mayor auge en todas aquellas ciudades en las que se ha fomentado el uso de la bicicleta mediante pol\u00edticas activas como la construcci\u00f3n de carriles bici o la puesta en marcha de servicios municipales de alquiler.<\/p>\n

Almer\u00eda, Barcelona, Huesca, Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia y Vitoria<\/strong> son las ciudades que cuentan con\u00a0blogs propios que no s\u00f3lo recogen instant\u00e1neas de personas\u00a0que usan la bici con estilo de manera cotidiana, sino que adem\u00e1s documentan actividades relacionadas con la bici como reivindicaciones o encuentros que cohesionan a la comunidad ciclista local.<\/p>\n
