Selle strateegia osa on n\u00e4iteks veidi raskemad aerorattad, mis on m\u00f5eldud keskmise raskusega etappidele (v\u00e4hem m\u00e4gesid), kus aerod\u00fcnaamika ja j\u00f5u\u00fclekanne on k\u00f5ige olulisemad. Viimase viie aasta jooksul j\u00e4rk-j\u00e4rgult kasutusele v\u00f5etud ketaspidurid pakuvad paremat pidurdusv\u00f5imust ja modulatsiooni ning profiratturid on hakanud \u00fcha meelsamini pruukima laiemaid rehve, mille laius on tavaliselt vahemikus 25 kuni 28 millimeetrit. Need laiused v\u00f5imaldavad madalamat rehvir\u00f5hku ilma veeretakistust ohverdamata, mis eelkirjeldatud p\u00f5hjustel toob omakorda kaasa parema juhitavuse mitmesugustel teepindadel.
