Men det har naturligvis ikke altid v\u00e6ret s\u00e5dan. I de f\u00f8rste ca. 12 \u00e5rs udgaver af Tour de France, hvor der var f\u00e5 deltagende ryttere og kun det samlede klassement at vinde, bar den f\u00f8rende rytter kun et gr\u00f8nt armbind.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L\u00f8bsdirekt\u00f8ren Henri Desgrange fik ideen til den f\u00f8rste tr\u00f8je i Tour de France mod afslutningen af 1919-udgaven af cykell\u00f8bet. Men senere i l\u00f8bet kn\u00e6kkede forgaflen p\u00e5 Christophes cykel, og han sluttede p\u00e5 andenpladsen efter belgiske Firmin Lambot. Og det var m\u00e5ske det bedste, for Christophe fortalte, at han hadede den gule tr\u00f8je, fordi tilskuerne drillede ham med, at han lignede en kanariefugl.<\/p>\n<p>Den gule farve blev valgt til maillot jaune, fordi det var samme farve, som det papir, som L\u2019Auto-V\u00e9lo, l\u00f8bets avissponsor (og forl\u00f8beren for den moderne franske sportsavis L\u2019\u00c9quipe), blev trykt p\u00e5.<\/p>\n<p>I 1933 blev et ekstra klassement tilf\u00f8jet til Touren \u2013 bjergkonkurrencen. L\u2019Auto-V\u00e9lo havde k\u00e5ret en cykelrytter til le meilleur grimpeur, Tourens bedste klatrer, siden 1905. Efter Touren i 1933 besluttede Desgrange, at \u00e5rets bedste bjergrytter, Vicente Trueba fra Spanien, skulle anerkendes af Touren, og at de ryttere, der f\u00f8rst krydsede bjergtoppene, fra 1934 skulle have en bonus. Tr\u00f8jens design og farve blev igen besluttet af tr\u00f8jesponsoren, chokoladeproducenten Chocolat Poulain, der havde et logo i farverne r\u00f8d og hvid.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsoraftalen dannede ogs\u00e5 baggrund for farven p\u00e5 den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je (maillot vert), da Tour de France-organisationen besluttede at tilf\u00f8je endnu en konkurrence \u2013 pointkonkurrencen \u2013 til l\u00f8bet. Farven var inspireret at tr\u00f8jesponsoren, som var pl\u00e6neklipperproducenten La Belle Jardini\u00e8re. \u00c5ret var 1953, og det var udgave nr. 50 af Tour de France, s\u00e5 det var en passende lejlighed til at indf\u00f8re en ny type konkurrence. Men tr\u00f8jen har ikke altid v\u00e6ret gr\u00f8n. Bernard Hinault if\u00f8rt den gule tr\u00f8je, Gerrie Knetermann, vinderen af den sidste etape, den franske politiker Maurice Couve de Murville (C), Freddy Maertens if\u00f8rt den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je og franske Mariano Martinez if\u00f8rt den prikkede bjergtr\u00f8je i r\u00f8d og hvid. \u00a9 Profimedia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Gennem \u00e5rene har Tour de France haft forskellige sponsorer indtil 2004, hvor \u0160koda blev officiel partner for Tour de France og den officielle bilpartner. \u0160kodas fork\u00e6rlighed for cykling understreges yderligere med sponsoratet af sprinternes gr\u00f8nne \u0160koda tr\u00f8je hvert \u00e5r siden 2015.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0de f\u00f8rste \u00e5r med den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je fik rytterne kun strafpoint, hvis de ikke sluttede langt fremme i feltet, s\u00e5 det var rytteren med f\u00e6rrest point, der fik lov til at b\u00e6re den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je. Fra 1959 blev systemet \u00e6ndret til den form, som det har i dag: Rytterne fik point for gode placeringer, hvor f\u00f8rstepladsen giver flest point, og de efterf\u00f8lgende placeringer giver successivt f\u00e6rre point. Det er derfor rytteren med flest point, der b\u00e6rer den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je i l\u00f8bet og p\u00e5 podiet i Paris efter den sidste etape. Hans specialitet var, ikke overraskende, spurterne, men han var ogs\u00e5 en god allround-rytter. En rytter, som gerne vil vinde den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je, skal v\u00e6re alsidig, fordi han skal holde sig inden for tidsgr\u00e6nsen p\u00e5 bjergetaperne for at blive i l\u00f8bet, og s\u00e5 skal han helst ogs\u00e5 kunne v\u00e6re med i de indlagte spurter p\u00e5 bjergetaperne.<\/p>\n<p>Fx var italienske Mario Cipollini en af sin tids bedste rendyrkede sprintere, men han vandt aldrig den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je i Tour de France, fordi han ikke ville gennemf\u00f8re bjergetaperne og fuldf\u00f8re l\u00f8bet (selv om han fuldf\u00f8rte Giro d\u2019Italia og vandt l\u00f8bets pointkonkurrence flere gange).<\/p>\n<p>Fordi der er f\u00e6rre bjergetaper i Touren, end der er flade eller kuperede etaper, er den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je normalt blevet vundet af en sprinter som fx tyske Erik Zabel, som har vundet den gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8je seks gange, eller slovakiske Peter Sagan, som har vundet syv gr\u00f8nne tr\u00f8jer.<\/p>\n<p>Men allerede f\u00f8r 1953 havde man fors\u00f8gt sig med pointsystemer i Touren. Fra 1905 til 1912 blev den samlede vinder af l\u00f8bet ikke fundet p\u00e5 baggrund af tid, men med et pointsystem, hvor de daglige etapeplaceringer blev omregnet til point.
