I dag kan du se cirka 250 biler med den markante bevingede pil i logoet som en del af Tour de France. S\u00e5dan har det v\u00e6ret siden 2004, da bilproducenten blev l\u00f8bets officielle bilpartner. Men mens der prim\u00e6rt (og retf\u00e6rdigvist) er fokus p\u00e5 cykelrytterne, er det n\u00e6sten ikke til at forestille sig antallet af personer i support-, assistance-, team- og hj\u00e6lpefunktioner samt antallet af involverede k\u00f8ret\u00f8jer. \u0160kodas biler, der for de flestes vedkommende er SUPERB-modeller, bemandes af cirka 300 chauff\u00f8rer og 60 teknikere. Mens bilerne udadtil kunne ligne typiske \u0160koda-modeller, hvis man fjernede ekstraudstyret og de seks antenner, er interi\u00f8ret i begge modeller noget helt s\u00e6rligt med omfattende \u00e6ndringer. Det f\u00f8rste, der falder i \u00f8jnene, er et kontrolpanel mellem fors\u00e6derne med integreret radioudstyr. Prudhomme sidder p\u00e5 bags\u00e6det og bruger radioen til at holde kontakten til l\u00f8bslederne i tre andre \u0160koda-biler og til at kommunikere med de enkelte holdbiler og give ordrer, gode r\u00e5d og \u2013 om n\u00f8dvendigt \u2013 tilladelse til at bryde den tildelte plads i karavanen. Foruden andet skr\u00e6ddersyet kommunikationsudstyr er der ogs\u00e5 et k\u00f8leskab til forfriskninger og indklappelige holdere til flutes og champagne, s\u00e5 Prudhomme kan bev\u00e6rte VIP-g\u00e6ster som fx den franske pr\u00e6sident.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?time_continue=3&#038;v=KwOECbdUsOI&#038;feature=emb_title&#038;ab_channel=WeLoveCycling<\/p>\n<p>Prudhomme har selv udtalt f\u00f8lgende: \u201c\u0160koda er en meget vigtig partner for Tour de France og de \u00f8vrige cykell\u00f8b, vi organiserer. Under Tour de France er den r\u00f8de \u0160koda med nr. 1 mere end blot en bil \u2013 den er kontrolcenter, kontor og en v\u00e6rdsat og betroet ven. Vi er glade for at udvide samarbejdet med en effektiv, p\u00e5lidelig og dynamisk partner.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1.8em;\">De neutrale servicebiler<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vi er alle blevet vant til assistance fra de gule Mavic-servicebiler, og det er ikke s\u00e5 underligt \u2013 de fik debut i Touren i 1977, men i \u00e5r er det anderledes. Den japanske mastodont inden for fremstilling af cykelkomponenter, Shimano, har indg\u00e5et en aftale med A.S.O. om at overtage driften af de neutrale servicebiler. Mavic-bilerne medbragte normalt reserved\u00e6k, k\u00e6der, kranks\u00e6t, hele cykler og endda udstyr som regnjakker foruden et komplet mobilt cykelv\u00e6rksted og naturligvis en mekaniker p\u00e5 bags\u00e6det. Der er ingen tvivl om, at Shimano vil s\u00f8rge for alt dette og mere til. Som traditionen foreskriver det, holder en af servicebilerne sig altid i n\u00e6rheden af Christian Prudhommes f\u00f8rerbil med tre cykler, der er specielt tilpasset til de tre f\u00f8rste i klassementet, s\u00e5 de kan redde dagen, hvis det bliver n\u00f8dvendigt.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Teambilerne<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>N\u00e6sten alle teambiler k\u00f8res af tidligere professionelle cykelryttere eller andre med tilsvarende erfaring \u2013 og det er der en god forklaring p\u00e5. Bilerne skal ikke blot f\u00f8lge cykelrytterne t\u00e6t, men n\u00e5r noget uventet som fx et uheld indtr\u00e6ffer, skal bilen accelerere og k\u00f8re ubesv\u00e6ret gennem sv\u00e6rmen af andre biler, motorcykler, cykelryttere og tilskuere for at komme frem til de ber\u00f8rte ryttere s\u00e5 hurtigt som muligt. Jo bedre dit team klarer sig rent pointm\u00e6ssigt, desto t\u00e6ttere er teambilen p\u00e5 spidsen af feltet, hvilket er ensbetydende med en kortere afstand og f\u00e6rre tabte sekunder, n\u00e5r bilen skal frem til holdets cykelryttere. Og det er ofte sekunder, der afg\u00f8r Touren. Som n\u00e6vnt kan kun Christian Prudhomme via tovejsradioen i f\u00f8rerbilen give teambilerne tilladelse til at bryde r\u00e6kkef\u00f8lgen. Alle teambilerne har en direkte linje til ham.
