Der er st\u00f8rre risiko for skader, f.eks. s\u00e5r, buler, hjernerystelse eller brud.<\/p>\n<p>Til sammenligning kan landevejscykling, hvor det \u2018kun\u2019 handler om at k\u00f8re lige ud, ned ad bakke eller op ad bakke, se ud til at v\u00e6re en mere sikker sport. Udover sammenst\u00f8d med biler er der dog ogs\u00e5 risiko for at styrte p\u00e5 asfalten og f\u00e5 mere alvorlige hudafskrabninger og kv\u00e6stelser, end n\u00e5r man falder p\u00e5 en markvej eller i skoven.<\/p>\n<p>Men lad os se p\u00e5 det fra en anden vinkel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hvordan p\u00e5virker cykling muskler og skelet hos mennesker?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1422\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/7\/2017\/07\/profimedia-0190517180.jpg\" alt=\"The biggest problem of road biking is that riders continuously bend forward because of aerodynamics. Det er ogs\u00e5 vigtigt at tage h\u00f8jde for medf\u00f8dte defekter, tidligere skader og smerter i rygraden.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 grund af de forskellige stillinger, man sidder i, aktiveres de forskellige muskelgrupper ogs\u00e5 forskelligt. Landevejscykelryttere bruger hovedsageligt benmusklerne, is\u00e6r l\u00e5r- og l\u00e6gmusklerne, og det er en ensformig m\u00e5de at k\u00f8re p\u00e5, der overbelaster musklerne i disse omr\u00e5der.<\/p>\n<p>Det st\u00f8rste problem ved landevejscykling er, at rytterne hele tiden l\u00e6ner sig forover for at opn\u00e5 bedre aerodynamik. N\u00e5r du sidder i en s\u00e5dan stilling, er dine skuldre konstant sp\u00e6ndte, brysthvirvlerne og brystkassen er flade, og ribbenene falder ned, hvilket reducerer pladsen (interkostalrummet). Organerne i bughulen tvinges ind i brysthulen og skubber mellemgulvet op, hvilket g\u00f8r det sv\u00e6rere at tr\u00e6kke vejret og \u00e6ndrer \u00e5ndedr\u00e6ttet. N\u00e5r du sidder p\u00e5 en landevejscykel, bruges musklerne i overkroppen prim\u00e6rt til at stabilisere dig i forhold til benenes bev\u00e6gelser. Den aerodynamiske stilling p\u00e5 en landevejscykel f\u00e5r dig til at vippe hovedet bagud, s\u00e5 du kan se ordentligt. L\u00e6ngere tids cykling medf\u00f8rer dermed \u00e6ndringer i den nakkehvirvlernes struktur. Desuden kan den sammenkrummede stilling skubbe intervertebralskivernes geleagtige midte bagud i brysthvirvlerne. En typisk konsekvens er diskusprolaps \u2013 den fremfaldene skive presser nerver\u00f8dderne sammen og for\u00e5rsager smerte. Dertil kommer , at landevejscykling belaster den nederste del af ryggen, som uds\u00e6ttes for stort pres.<\/p>\n<p>Landevejscykling handler hovedsageligt om mange kilometre, s\u00e5 alt afh\u00e6nger af benene, og hele overkroppen er \u2018l\u00e5st\u2019. Bev\u00e6gelserne kommer fra hofteleddene. Cykelrytternes bev\u00e6gelser i det sagittale plan belaster adduktorerne, men det er godt for hofteleddet at sidde i sadlen, for det aflaster kroppens v\u00e6gt.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1424\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/7\/2017\/07\/13029429_1170763746270129_7386094662124668547_o.jpg\" alt=\"A strong advantage of MTB is a more upright sitting position. Armene er en uadskillelig del af stillingen, og musklerne i overkroppen er mere aktive. Fordi stillingen er mere opret, belastes nakkehvirvlerne ikke s\u00e5 meget. Dog uds\u00e6ttes rygs\u00f8jlen for st\u00f8d, der overf\u00f8res fra armene til nakkehvirvlerne. Mountainbikere l\u00e6ner sig ikke s\u00e5 meget fremad, men de k\u00f8rer ofte i h\u00e5rdt terr\u00e6n, og brysthvirvlerne absorberer mange st\u00f8d, hvilket i ekstreme tilf\u00e6lde kan medf\u00f8re skader p\u00e5 intervertebralskiverne. Mountainbike belaster ogs\u00e5 den nederste del af ryggen, men i mindre grad. Muskelgrupperne i over- og underkroppen aktiveres ret ens hos mountainbikere.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 uanset om du er dedikeret landevejsrytter eller entusiastisk mountainbiker, skal du huske p\u00e5, at cykling \u2013 som alle andre sportsgrene \u2013 kan have nogle konsekvenser.<\/p>\n<p>Den samlede vurdering er, at landevejscykling mere belastende end mountainbike. Mountainbikere skifter oftere stilling, og der sker \u00e6ndringer i v\u00e6gtfordelingen, de store leds position og brugen af musklerne. Hvis man ser p\u00e5 den overordnede indvirkning p\u00e5 skelettet og musklerne, er det bedre end landevejscyklings aerodynamiske stilling og monotone bev\u00e6gelser.
