Mezi jej\u00ed z\u00e1liby pat\u0159\u00ed hlavn\u011b silni\u010dn\u00ed i horsk\u00e1 cyklistika, triatlon, ale i horsk\u00e1 turistika, plav\u00e1n\u00ed nebo j\u00f3ga. Airin Harris je \u017eenou, kter\u00e1 miluje pohyb, a proto\u017ee p\u0159edstavuje tzv. plus-size sportovce, rozhodla se svoje sportovn\u00ed z\u00e1\u017eitky sd\u00edlet na soci\u00e1ln\u00edch s\u00edt\u00edch a inspirovat ostatn\u00ed \u017eeny i celou plus-size komunitu.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Sv\u011bt fitness je bohu\u017eel st\u00e1le pln\u00fd p\u0159edstav o hubnut\u00ed a fale\u0161n\u00fdch ide\u00e1l\u016f o d\u016fvodech, kv\u016fli kter\u00fdm cvi\u010d\u00edme. Jako protiklad t\u011bmto stereotyp\u016fm stoj\u00ed Airina \u010dist\u00e1 a neoblomn\u00e1 l\u00e1ska ke sportu samotn\u00e9mu. My z We Love Cycling jsme se s\u00a0Airin bavili o tom, jak j\u00ed cyklistika pomohla vyrovnat se s\u00a0hormon\u00e1ln\u00ed dysfunkc\u00ed, jak se nau\u010dila vystoupit ze sv\u00e9 komfortn\u00ed z\u00f3ny a jak\u00e9 jsou jej\u00ed nejlep\u0161\u00ed tipy pro ostatn\u00ed plus-size cyklisty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nejd\u0159\u00edv n\u00e1m pov\u011bz, jak to m\u00e1\u0161 s\u00a0cyklistikou! Jak ses ke kolu dostala a jak\u00fd p\u0159\u00edb\u011bh m\u00e1\u0161 za sebou?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>V\u017edycky jsem kolo milovala. U\u017e jako mal\u00e1 jsem jezdila na horsk\u00e9m kole po poln\u00edch a \u0161otolinov\u00fdch cest\u00e1ch v\u00a0Montan\u011b, a po p\u0159esunu do Tennessee jsem za\u010dala i na silni\u010dn\u00edm kole a taky s triatlonem. Cyklistiku jsem za\u010dala br\u00e1t v\u00e1\u017en\u011b okolo roku 2000, ale od t\u00e9 doby jsem m\u011bla i n\u011bkolik men\u0161\u00edch p\u0159est\u00e1vek. To je na cyklistice skv\u011bl\u00e9 \u2013 kolo na v\u00e1s nezanev\u0159e, ani kdy\u017e se p\u00e1r t\u00fddn\u016f nebo m\u011bs\u00edc\u016f nevid\u00edte. Aktivn\u011b jsem se v\u011bnovala i b\u011bhu a \u00fa\u010dastnila jsem se i n\u011bkolika p\u016flmaraton\u016f, ale po operaci kolen je pro m\u011b kolo volbou \u010d\u00edslo jedna. Hormon\u00e1ln\u00ed diagn\u00f3za, syndrom polycystick\u00fdch ovari\u00ed a dvojit\u00e1 operace kolene \u2013 jakou roli to hr\u00e1lo v\u00a0tv\u00e9m vztahu k\u00a0cyklistice a fitness?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bohu\u017eel toho o syndromu polycystick\u00fdch ovari\u00ed nen\u00ed moc zn\u00e1mo, dokonce ani p\u0159esn\u00e1 p\u0159\u00ed\u010dina tohoto probl\u00e9mu. V\u011bdci a l\u00e9ka\u0159i se teprve dost\u00e1vaj\u00ed pod povrch t\u00e9to z\u00e1hady. Je to frustruj\u00edc\u00ed a musela jsem odol\u00e1vat, aby se to nestalo ur\u010duj\u00edc\u00edm faktorem moj\u00ed osobnosti. \u010casto jsem si p\u0159ipadala, \u017ee m\u00e9 t\u011blo nespolupracuje \u2013 pr\u00e1v\u011b naopak, \u017ee protestuje a st\u00e1vkuje. Bylo to n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e9 a musela jsem p\u0159ijmout fakt, \u017ee toto t\u011blo mi bylo d\u00e1no a um\u00ed spoustu skv\u011bl\u00fdch v\u011bc\u00ed, i kdy\u017e nen\u00ed bezchybn\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>I p\u0159es tento stav pat\u0159\u00edm mezi lidi, kte\u0159\u00ed cht\u011bj\u00ed zkusit a za\u017e\u00edt v\u0161echno. D\u011blala jsem, a st\u00e1le d\u011bl\u00e1m mnoho sport\u016f, je to velice pestr\u00e1 \u0161k\u00e1la tr\u00e9nink\u016f. Nem\u016f\u017eu vinit n\u011bjakou konkr\u00e9tn\u00ed situaci, ale v\u00a0pr\u016fb\u011bhu t\u011bchto sportovn\u00edch aktivit jsem si natrhla meniskus, a b\u011bhem rehabilitace jsem si natrhla i ten druh\u00fd. Musela jsem tak podstoupit operaci obou kolen b\u011bhem \u0161esti m\u011bs\u00edc\u016f. Up\u0159\u00edmn\u011b, n\u00e1sledn\u00fd proces zotavov\u00e1n\u00ed byl nejt\u011b\u017e\u0161\u00ed v\u00a0m\u00e9m \u017eivot\u011b. Nemohla jsem se v\u011bnovat aktivit\u00e1m, kter\u00e9 m\u00e1m tak r\u00e1da a to bylo velmi depresivn\u00ed. Stav se ale postupn\u011b lep\u0161il a nau\u010dila jsem se adaptovat. Airin se rozhodla sd\u00edlet sv\u00e9 sportovn\u00ed z\u00e1\u017eitky na soci\u00e1ln\u00edch s\u00edt\u00edch, aby budovala komunitu a inspirovala ostatn\u00ed \u017eeny.<\/em>\u201c<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Spole\u010dnost si bez v\u011bt\u0161\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f vytv\u00e1\u0159\u00ed p\u0159edstavy o tom, co vede \u017eeny ke cvi\u010den\u00ed a ke sportu obecn\u011b, jejich \u201evelikost\u201c nevn\u00edmaje. Setkala jsi se s\u00a0t\u00edmto fenom\u00e9nem, a pokud ano, jak\u00e1 byla tvoje reakce?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nej\u010dast\u011bj\u0161\u00ed p\u0159edstavou je, \u017ee pokud jako plus-size \u017eena cvi\u010d\u00edte, je to kv\u016fli tomu, \u017ee se chcete zbavit nadbyte\u010dn\u00fdch kil. To pochopiteln\u011b nen\u00ed v\u017edy ten p\u0159\u00edpad. V\u011bt\u0161inou se prost\u011b sna\u017e\u00edm lidem vysv\u011btlit, \u017ee m\u011b to bav\u00ed a \u017ee chci b\u00fdt zdrav\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jak\u00e1 je tvoje cyklistick\u00e1 komunita? S\u00a0k\u00fdm nej\u010dast\u011bji vyraz\u00ed\u0161 na kolo a kde hled\u00e1\u0161 inspiraci?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1m kolem sebe skv\u011blou komunitu! I kdy\u017e za\u010d\u00e1tky po m\u00e9m p\u0159esunu do mal\u00e9ho m\u011bsta v Tennessee byly pozvoln\u00e9, te\u010f m\u00e1m n\u011bkolik p\u0159\u00e1tel\/cyklist\u016f, se kter\u00fdmi po\u0159\u00e1d\u00e1me Taco Tuesday Bicycle Club. Na za\u010d\u00e1tku to byla pouze vyj\u00ed\u017e\u010fka p\u00e1r kamar\u00e1d\u016f zakon\u010den\u00e1 ve\u010de\u0159\u00ed, kde se se\u0161li i na\u0161i partne\u0159i, ale jak jsme zvali dal\u0161\u00ed a dal\u0161\u00ed lidi, rozrostlo se to a u\u017e n\u00e1s vyjelo i kolem pades\u00e1ti.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e1le v\u00a0Tennessee existuje komunita cyklistek na horsk\u00fdch kolech RAD a u\u017e\u00edv\u00e1m si ka\u017edou \u00fa\u010dast na Bell Joy Rides i Trek Women\u2019s Rides, kter\u00e9 se konaj\u00ed v\u00a0Knoxville. Vzpom\u00edn\u00e1m si, jak jsem se odv\u00e1\u017en\u011b vydala daleko za hranice svoj\u00ed komfortn\u00ed z\u00f3ny, kdy\u017e jsem se poprv\u00e9 uk\u00e1zala na sobotn\u00ed Bell Joy Ride. Nikoho jsem neznala a m\u011bla jsem sedmn\u00e1ct let star\u00e9 horsk\u00e9 kolo (dokonce jsem vyhr\u00e1la cenu, kter\u00e1 byla ur\u010dena tomu s\u00a0nejstar\u0161\u00edm kolem). Ale v\u00e1\u017en\u011b, spousta lid\u00ed, se kter\u00fdma jezd\u00edm, jsou bu\u010fto men\u0161\u00ed, nebo leh\u010d\u00ed, nebo oboj\u00ed a n\u011bkdy se s\u00a0nimi nedok\u00e1\u017eu udr\u017eet, i kdy\u017e si o sob\u011b mysl\u00edm, \u017ee jsem na kole siln\u00e1. Na\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed existuje spousta skupin, kde je pravidlo no-drop, tedy \u017ee se nikomu neujede a v\u0161ichni dojedou spole\u010dn\u011b. Z\u00e1m\u011brn\u011b tak vyhled\u00e1v\u00e1m tyto skupiny, nemus\u00edm se tak ni\u010deho b\u00e1t i kdyby tam byly sebev\u011bt\u0161\u00ed kopce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e1\u0161 \u00fasp\u011bchy, na kter\u00e9 jsi py\u0161n\u00e1?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>V\u00a0roce 2017 jsem tr\u00e9novala cel\u00fd rok, a ujela jsem 50mil, 100km i 100mil vyj\u00ed\u017e\u010fky. Dokon\u010dit tzv. \u201ecentury\u201c byl pro m\u011b opravdu velk\u00fd moment. Ten pocit, \u017ee jsem to dok\u00e1zala a \u017ee cel\u00e9 tr\u00e9ninkov\u00e9 \u00fasil\u00ed st\u00e1lo za to. Dokonce jsem to zvl\u00e1dla pod sedm hodin, co\u017e byl m\u016fj c\u00edl!<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e1\u0161 n\u011bjak\u00e9 tipy pro ostatn\u00ed \u201eplus size\u201c cyklisty?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ano!<\/p>\n<p>1) NE\u0160ET\u0158ETE NA KRA\u0164ASECH! Mysl\u00edm to v\u00e1\u017en\u011b, se\u017ee\u0148te si n\u011bjak\u00e9 kvalitn\u00ed kra\u0165asy s\u00a0dobrou vlo\u017ekou. Moje vybaven\u00ed je od Terry and Shebeest, kter\u00e9 je kvalitn\u011b zpracovan\u00e9 a vydr\u017eelo mi n\u011bkolik tis\u00edc kilometr\u016f. Velikosti cyklistick\u00e9ho oble\u010den\u00ed jsou tak r\u016fznorod\u00e9, \u017ee je v\u017edy nejlep\u0161\u00ed v\u0161e zkou\u0161et osobn\u011b, taky spol\u00e9h\u00e1m na zna\u010dky, kter\u00e9 nab\u00edz\u00ed i speci\u00e1ln\u011b velk\u00e9 velikosti.<\/p>\n<p>2) Jenom proto, \u017ee m\u00e1te velk\u00fd\/baculat\u00fd\/\u0161irok\u00fd zadek, nepot\u0159ebujete velk\u00e9\/baculat\u00e9\/\u0161irok\u00e9 sedlo.<\/p>\n<p>3) Pokud m\u00e1te i velk\u00e1 stehna, m\u011bli byste se poohl\u00e9dnout po n\u00e1stavc\u00edch na ped\u00e1ly. M\u00edt ped\u00e1ly trochu d\u00e1l od r\u00e1mu pro m\u011b znamenalo OBROVSK\u00c9 zlep\u0161en\u00ed komfortu. Jedn\u00e1 se o kovov\u00e9 sou\u010d\u00e1stky, kter\u00e9 se instaluj\u00ed mezi ped\u00e1l a kliku, v\u00a0nejbli\u017e\u0161\u00edm cyklistick\u00e9m obchod\u011b v\u00e1m s\u00a0t\u00edm ur\u010dit\u011b pom\u016f\u017eou. Taky jsem jedno moc cht\u011bla, ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 jsem se toho dost ob\u00e1vala. Cht\u011bla jsem jezdit v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed vzd\u00e1lenosti, a nakonec jsem skon\u010dila u n\u00e1kupu fitness kola, proto\u017ee jsem si nakonec usmyslela, \u017ee je pro m\u011b vhodn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. I kdy\u017e je skv\u011bl\u00e9, nen\u00ed to silni\u010dn\u00ed kolo. Po tom jsem opravdu tou\u017eila a kdy\u017e jsem zjistila, \u017ee fitness kolo nespl\u0148uje moji p\u0159edstavu, koupila jsem si ho p\u00e1r m\u011bs\u00edc\u016f pot\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Je je\u0161t\u011b n\u011bco, o co by ses ze sv\u00e9 cyklistick\u00e9 zku\u0161enosti r\u00e1da pod\u011blila?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>B\u011bhem t\u011bch let jsem dostala spoustu ot\u00e1zek ohledn\u011b aktivit, kter\u00fdm se v\u011bnuji od ostatn\u00edch \u017een. Proto jsem si zalo\u017eila \u00fa\u010det na Instagramu v\u00a0nad\u011bji, \u017ee inspiruji dal\u0161\u00ed \u017eeny. Douf\u00e1m, \u017ee kdy\u017e na m\u016fj profil naraz\u00ed, \u0159eknou si: \u201eKdy\u017e to dok\u00e1\u017ee ona, tak j\u00e1 taky!\u201c A p\u0159esn\u011b to je ono. Vy to dok\u00e1\u017eete. Mnoho \u017een, kter\u00e9 zn\u00e1m \u010dekaj\u00ed, a\u017e trochu zhubnou ne\u017e za\u010dnou se sportem, ale nen\u00ed na co \u010dekat.
