Zlep\u0161uje soust\u0159ed\u011bn\u00ed, oddaluje \u00fanavu a pom\u00e1h\u00e1 n\u00e1m jet o n\u011bco d\u00e9le i rychleji. Sto jedna cyklist\u016f podstoupilo genetick\u00e9 testy a n\u00e1sledn\u011b t\u0159ikr\u00e1t absolvovalo deset kilometr\u016f dlouh\u00e9 j\u00edzdy na trena\u017e\u00e9ru. P\u0159ed ka\u017edou j\u00edzdou dostali bu\u010f placebo, n\u00edzkou d\u00e1vku kofeinu, nebo d\u00e1vku vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00fdsledky? Rychl\u00ed metaboliz\u00e1to\u0159i byli po kofeinu o 5\u20137 procent rychlej\u0161\u00ed. St\u0159edn\u00ed metaboliz\u00e1to\u0159i zaznamenali jen mal\u00e9 zm\u011bny. Pomal\u00ed metaboliz\u00e1to\u0159i byli a\u017e o 17 procent pomalej\u0161\u00ed. Ano, \u010dtete spr\u00e1vn\u011b.
