Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017e-Roubaix, neboli Peklo severu, se kon\u00e1 ji\u017e od roku 1896. P\u0159eru\u0161ily ho pouze sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky a jeden ro\u010dn\u00edk byl zru\u0161en kv\u016fli pandemii. Ale jeho kulisy jsou v podstat\u011b stejn\u00e9 od prvn\u00edch ro\u010dn\u00edk\u016f. A pokud ho m\u00e1 symbolizovat pouze jedna v\u011bc &#8211; bude to dla\u017eebn\u00ed kostka &#8211; Pav\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P\u0159esn\u011b na nich se z\u00e1vod odehr\u00e1v\u00e1. V ro\u010dn\u00edku 2023 m\u011b\u0159\u00edc\u00edm celkem 255 kilometr\u016f bylo cel\u00fdch 54,5 kilometr\u016f po dla\u017eebn\u00edch kostk\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00e1vod jsem sledoval u\u017e jako mal\u00fd kluk a v\u017edy m\u011b fascinoval svou zcela unik\u00e1tn\u00ed drsnost\u00ed. Tehdy jsem netu\u0161il, \u017ee budu m\u00edt n\u011bkdy p\u0159\u00edle\u017eitost trasu tohoto z\u00e1vodu absolvovat na vlastn\u00ed k\u016f\u017ei.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Paris-Roubaix Challenge: nepo\u010d\u00edt\u00e1 se po\u0159ad\u00ed, c\u00edlem je dokon\u010dit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Na podzim mi p\u0159i\u0161la nab\u00eddka absolvovat v\u00fdzvu v podob\u011b Paris-Roubaix Challenge. Jeden den p\u0159ed samotn\u00fdm mu\u017esk\u00fdm z\u00e1vodem vyrazit na tra\u0165 z\u00e1vodu a projet v\u0161echny dl\u00e1\u017ed\u011bn\u00e9 \u00faseky t\u00e9to legend\u00e1rn\u00ed jarn\u00ed klasiky. Nev\u00e1hal jsem ani chv\u00edli. A aby toho nebylo m\u00e1lo, p\u0159emluvil jsem i dlouholet\u00e9ho kamar\u00e1da Libora. Oba na kole jezd\u00edme cel\u00fd \u017eivot. Dokonce na Silvestra jsme si pustili cel\u00fd z\u00e1znam Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017e-Roubaix 2022. V t\u00fddnech p\u0159ed z\u00e1vodem n\u00e1s potkalo n\u011bkolik zdravotn\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f a Libor je\u0161t\u011b m\u00e1lem p\u0159i\u0161el t\u011bsn\u011b p\u0159ed z\u00e1vodem o kolo. Nakonec jsme se na velikono\u010dn\u00ed p\u00e1tek dostali a\u017e do Roubaix, kde jsme si vyzvedli startovn\u00ed \u010d\u00edsla.<\/p>\n<p>Paris-Roubaix Challenge nen\u00ed z\u00e1vodem, ale v\u00fdzvou. Nepo\u010d\u00edt\u00e1 se po\u0159ad\u00ed, ale c\u00edlem je dokon\u010dit. A nen\u00ed to mal\u00e1 v\u00fdzva. Na v\u00fdb\u011br m\u00e1te ze t\u0159\u00ed d\u00e9lek trat\u00ed, kdy ta nejdel\u0161\u00ed absolvuje v\u0161echny \u00faseky kostek a oproti elitn\u00edmu z\u00e1vodu vynech\u00e1 pouze prvn\u00edch 80 kilometr\u016f, kter\u00e9 neobsahuj\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd kostkov\u00fd \u00fasek. A p\u0159esn\u011b tu jsme zvolili. Na 29 sektorech n\u00e1s \u010dek\u00e1 54,5 kilometr\u016f kostek. Odstartovat j\u00edzdu bylo mo\u017en\u00e9 v\u00a0hodinov\u00e9m bloku mezi sedmou a osmou r\u00e1no, aby se po\u010detn\u00e9 pole cyklist\u016f nat\u00e1hlo a sn\u00ed\u017eilo se riziko p\u00e1du na kostk\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Des\u00edtky jezdc\u016f opravuj\u00edc\u00edch pod\u00e9l trati<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Po p\u00e1r kilometrech na zah\u0159\u00e1t\u00ed sval\u016f jsme najeli na prvn\u00ed \u00fasek kostek. Na Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017e-Roubaix se \u00faseky po\u010d\u00edtaj\u00ed sestupn\u011b, tak\u017ee jako prvn\u00ed naj\u00ed\u017ed\u00edte se sektor 29. Jednotliv\u00e9 sektory jsou ozna\u010deny hv\u011bzdi\u010dkami podle n\u00e1ro\u010dnosti. Nejleh\u010d\u00ed m\u00e1 jednu hv\u011bzdi\u010dku a nejt\u011b\u017e\u0161\u00ed p\u011bt hv\u011bzd. Hned po n\u00e1jezdu na kostky vid\u00edm jezdce s defektem. To mu jist\u011b na psychice nep\u0159id\u00e1. N\u011bkolik prvn\u00edch \u00fasek\u016f je sp\u00ed\u0161e snaz\u0161\u00edch, ale i zde nen\u00ed nouze o p\u00e1dy a defekty. Zji\u0161\u0165uji, jak d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e1 je dobr\u00e1 pozice v n\u00e1jezdu na sektory. Pokud jste vzadu, p\u0159edj\u00ed\u017ed\u011bn\u00ed nen\u00ed snadn\u00e9. Kostky nejsou rovn\u00e9, ale uprost\u0159ed jsou vyv\u00fd\u0161en\u00e9 a sm\u011brem ke kraj\u016fm cesty se sva\u017euj\u00ed dol\u016f. Nav\u00edc na kraj\u00edch je mnoho bl\u00e1ta, d\u00edry a n\u011bkdy i kalu\u017ee. Jistota je proj\u00ed\u017ed\u011bt je st\u0159edem a dr\u017eet se \u201cnaho\u0159e\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Nejn\u00e1ro\u010dn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed \u00fasek \u010d.19 &#8211; Arenbersk\u00fd les &#8211; p\u0159ich\u00e1z\u00ed po sedmdes\u00e1ti kilometrech. Zde se psala historie tohoto z\u00e1vodu. Kostky zde jsou sp\u00ed\u0161e n\u00e1hodn\u011b polo\u017een\u00fdmi kameny a je t\u011b\u017ek\u00e9 v\u016fbec udr\u017eet \u0159\u00edd\u00edtka v ruk\u00e1ch. \u0158\u00edk\u00e1 se, \u017ee z\u00e1vod na Arenbergu nevyhrajete, ale ur\u010dit\u011b ho zde m\u016f\u017eete prohr\u00e1t. Des\u00edtky jezdc\u016f opravuj\u00ed pod\u00e9l trati sv\u00e1 kola. To moje funguje bez probl\u00e9m\u016f, jen ob\u010das vyd\u00e1 tup\u00fd zvuk, kdy\u017e naraz\u00ed na hodn\u011b vystouplou nebo chyb\u011bj\u00edc\u00ed kostku. Arenberg je brut\u00e1ln\u00ed, ale m\u00e1m ho za sebou. Byl to z\u00e1\u017eitek. Pot\u00e9 n\u00e1sleduj\u00ed snadn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed \u00faseky, ale rozhodn\u011b Peklo severu je\u0161t\u011b nen\u00ed u konce.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>P\u0159ilba od\u0159en\u00e1 a zdeformovan\u00e1<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u010cty\u0159iapades\u00e1t kilometr\u016f p\u0159ed c\u00edlem naj\u00ed\u017ed\u00edme do sektoru \u010d\u00edslo 12. M\u00e1 \u201cjen\u201d \u010dty\u0159i hv\u011bzdi\u010dky a po n\u011bm u\u017e bude n\u00e1sledovat legend\u00e1rn\u00ed Mons-en-P\u00e9v\u00e8le, kter\u00fd je druh\u00fdm sektorem s p\u011bti hv\u011bzdi\u010dkami. Naj\u00ed\u017ed\u00edm na n\u011bj na \u010dele na\u0161\u00ed skupiny. Po kostk\u00e1ch to kr\u00e1sn\u011b jede a p\u0159ed n\u00e1mi je dlouh\u00e1 rovina. Doj\u00ed\u017ed\u00edme pomalej\u0161\u00ed jezdce na prav\u00e9 stran\u011b cesty a chyst\u00e1me se je p\u0159edjet st\u0159edem.<\/p>\n<p>Na bl\u00e1t\u011b jeden z\u00a0nich ztrat\u00ed stabilitu a strhne kolo p\u0159\u00edmo n\u00e1m do cesty. Zkou\u0161\u00edm se mu vyhnout, ale na kluzk\u00fdch kostk\u00e1ch hned let\u00edm k zemi a n\u011bkolik jezdc\u016f za mnou do n\u00e1s okam\u017eit\u011b nar\u00e1\u017e\u00ed. N\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed se vyhnou nebo spadnou do p\u0159\u00edkopu. Okam\u017eit\u011b zved\u00e1m sebe i kolo a uh\u00fdb\u00e1m na stranu. V\u0161ichni se zvedaj\u00ed, j\u00e1 kontroluji kolo. Vypad\u00e1 v po\u0159\u00e1dku, tak na n\u011bj sed\u00e1m a chci pokra\u010dovat v j\u00edzd\u011b. Ale nevid\u00edm na prav\u00e9 oko. Pt\u00e1 se, zda chci do nemocnice, nebo pokra\u010dovat. Vypad\u00e1 to jen na roztr\u017een\u00e9 obo\u010d\u00ed. Chv\u00edli si m\u011b nechaj\u00ed v sanitce a po o\u0161et\u0159en\u00ed dost\u00e1v\u00e1m svolen\u00ed pokra\u010dovat. Peklo nekon\u010d\u00ed. Pot\u0159ebuji si zkontrolovat kolo. T\u00fdden p\u0159ed z\u00e1vodem jsem si po\u0159\u00eddil \u00fapln\u011b novou p\u0159ilbu Trek Ballista s bezpe\u010dnostn\u00edm syst\u00e9mem MIPS Air. Je od\u0159en\u00e1 a trochu zdeformovan\u00e1, ale st\u00e1le dr\u017e\u00ed pohromad\u011b. Dnes mi dost mo\u017en\u00e1 zachr\u00e1nila \u017eivot. Po takov\u00e9m p\u00e1du m\u00e1 u\u017e odslou\u017eeno. Nejlep\u0161\u00ed mo\u017en\u00e1 investice, i na t\u011bch p\u00e1r dn\u00ed.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Challenge zaryt\u00e1 do pam\u011bti<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>M\u00e1m jen dva kilometry p\u0159ejezdu po asfaltu a n\u00e1sleduje ob\u00e1van\u00fd sektor \u010d.11 Mons-en-P\u00e9v\u00e8le. Velmi jsem se na n\u011bj t\u011b\u0161il, po p\u00e1du jsem se p\u0159epnul do nouzov\u00e9ho re\u017eimu. Tohle je sp\u00ed\u0161e boj o p\u0159e\u017eit\u00ed. Po n\u011bm u\u017e budu m\u00edt c\u00edl na dosah.<\/p>\n<p>Arber se mi jede p\u0159ekvapiv\u011b dob\u0159e. T\u011blo u\u017e je unaven\u00e9 a bolav\u00e9, ale zb\u00fdv\u00e1 u\u017e jen kousek. V ned\u011bli na tomto sektoru rozhodne Mathieu van der Poel o v\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00ed elitn\u00ed kategorie. Te\u010f u\u017e zb\u00fdv\u00e1 opravdu jen kousek. Ale jak u\u017e mi dneska Roubaix uk\u00e1zalo, ka\u017ed\u00e1 kostka m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt tou posledn\u00ed. Zat\u00e1\u010dka doprava m\u011b p\u0159iv\u00e1d\u00ed na velodrom v Roubaix, kde je c\u00edlov\u00e1 p\u00e1ska. Splnil jsem si dal\u0161\u00ed cyklistick\u00fd sen. Absolvoval jsem v\u0161echny kostkov\u00e9 \u00faseky Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017e-Roubaix. Tento den se mi vryje opravdu hluboko do pam\u011bti. V c\u00edli u\u017e na m\u011b \u010dek\u00e1 kamar\u00e1d Libor. Naposledy jsem ho vid\u011bl chv\u00edli p\u0159edt\u00edm, ne\u017e jsem naplno okusil tvrdost kostek a nem\u011blo smysl na m\u011b \u010dekat. C\u00edl v Roubaix jsme ale nakonec vid\u011bli oba, tak\u017ee spln\u011bn\u00fd sen.<\/p>\n<p>A jak budu vzpom\u00ednat na sv\u016fj den v pekle? Velkolep\u00fd z\u00e1\u017eitek, kter\u00fd se d\u00e1 jen t\u011b\u017eko popsat, pokud ho neza\u017eijete. Televize, fotografie ani pov\u00edd\u00e1n\u00ed ho nikdy nedok\u00e1\u017ee zcela zprost\u0159edkovat. Peklo, z\u00a0n\u011bho\u017e vede cesta zp\u011bt. Peklo, na kter\u00e9 nikdy nezapomenu.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Speci\u00e1ln\u00ed vybaven\u00ed pro Peklo severu<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017e-Roubaix je extr\u00e9mn\u011b n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00fd nejen pro jezdce, ale je\u0161t\u011b v\u00edce na vybaven\u00ed. Kolo je na kostk\u00e1ch podrobeno brut\u00e1ln\u00edmu testu odolnosti. Z\u00e1vod sleduji mnoho let a hodn\u011b se zaj\u00edm\u00e1m i o samotnou techniku kol a speci\u00e1ln\u00ed \u00fapravy, kter\u00e9 z\u00e1vodn\u00edci a jejich mechanici pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed. Race Shop Limited znamen\u00e1, \u017ee se jedn\u00e1 o specifick\u00fd z\u00e1vodn\u00ed r\u00e1m s radik\u00e1ln\u00ed geometri\u00ed a extr\u00e9mn\u00ed tuhost\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e1m m\u00e1 integrovan\u00fd pru\u017e\u00edc\u00ed prvek ISOspeed, kter\u00fd je um\u00edst\u011bn v hlavov\u00e9 i sedlov\u00e9 trubce, kde dokonce umo\u017e\u0148uje nastaven\u00ed tuhosti. T\u00edm m\u016f\u017eete nastavit, kolik komfortu v\u00e1m pohybliv\u00e1 sedlovka poskytne. Zvolil jsem nejm\u011bk\u010d\u00ed mo\u017en\u00e9 nastaven\u00ed. Ty pou\u017eily v\u00edt\u011bzky \u017eensk\u00e9ho Roubaix v p\u0159ede\u0161l\u00fdch dvou letech. Bezdu\u0161ov\u00e9 proveden\u00ed umo\u017e\u0148uje jet s ni\u017e\u0161\u00edm tlakem a z\u00e1rove\u0148 zvy\u0161uje odolnost proti defektu.
