Protin\u00e1zor p\u0159inesla sprinterka Chloe Hoskingov\u00e1, kter\u00e1 za\u0159azen\u00ed slavn\u00e9 hory na tra\u0165 odsuzovala, proto\u017ee by naopak eliminovala v\u011bt\u0161inu pelotonu a za\u0159\u00eddila z\u00e1vod jen pro vyvolen\u00e9 vrcha\u0159ky.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00fdsledkem byl nakonec kompromis, kdy se mohla prosadit kter\u00e1koliv ze z\u00e1vodnic bez ohledu na svou specializaci. A je\u0161t\u011b v jednom se d\u00e1my cyklistky shodly \u2013 nepom\u011br ve velikosti peloton\u016f. \u017deny bojovaly v po\u010dtu 67, mu\u017e\u016f bylo 130.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>V Los Angeles jen 45 cyklistek, strop pro mu\u017ee neexistuje<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Tento rozd\u00edl v\u0161ak nen\u00ed nic nov\u00e9ho. K vid\u011bn\u00ed byl u\u017e b\u011bhem prvn\u00edho \u017eensk\u00e9ho cyklistick\u00e9ho z\u00e1vodu na hr\u00e1ch v Los Angeles 1984, kdy sm\u011blo na start jen 45 cyklistek. V At\u00e9n\u00e1ch 2004 se la\u0165ka posunula na \u010d\u00edslo 67 (mu\u017e\u016f startovalo 145) a od t\u00e9 doby se s n\u00ed ne\u0161oupalo. To velikost mu\u017esk\u00e9ho pelotonu nikdy ofici\u00e1ln\u011b nedostala strop. Kol\u00edsala od her ke hr\u00e1m, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e sv\u00e9ho vrcholu dos\u00e1hla v Atlant\u011b 1996 \u2013 184 \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f.<\/p>\n<p>Jakmile byly zve\u0159ejn\u011bny kv\u00f3ty pro Tokio 2020, zase jednou se rozjela v\u00e1\u0161niv\u00e1 debata o tom, \u017ee velikostn\u00ed nepom\u011br d\u00e1l p\u0159e\u017e\u00edv\u00e1. V Japonsku sm\u011blo ve \u010dty\u0159ech discipl\u00edn\u00e1ch (silnice, dr\u00e1ha, MTB a BMX) startoval 299 mu\u017e\u016f a 229 \u017een. Spolu s Mezin\u00e1rodn\u00edm olympijsk\u00fdm v\u00fdborem (MOV) pl\u00e1nuje v Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017ei 2024 stejn\u00e9 po\u010dty ve v\u0161ech discipl\u00edn\u00e1ch. Symbolicky dvacet let od At\u00e9n, kde mu\u017esk\u00fd silni\u010dn\u00ed peloton svou velikost\u00ed dvakr\u00e1t p\u0159es\u00e1hl ten \u017eensk\u00fd.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>MOV vol\u00ed li\u0161\u00e1ck\u00e9 \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sp\u00ed\u0161 ne\u017e by se ale zvy\u0161oval po\u010det cyklistek, ukroj\u00ed MOV z mu\u017esk\u00e9ho pelotonu, co\u017e jde ruku v ruce se snahami olympijsk\u00e9ho v\u00fdboru sni\u017eovat po\u010dty v\u0161ech \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f olympijsk\u00fdch her nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d discipl\u00ednami. Do Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017ee 2024 tak doraz\u00ed o zhruba 400 sportovc\u016f m\u00e9n\u011b a celkov\u00fd po\u010det cyklist\u016f se z 528 sn\u00ed\u017e\u00ed na 514 nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d discipl\u00ednami, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e mu\u017e\u016f u\u017e nebude 299, ale jen 257. V silni\u010dn\u00ed cyklistice tak nastane k\u00fd\u017een\u00e1 parita, do z\u00e1vod\u016f mu\u017e\u016f i \u017een nastoup\u00ed v ka\u017ed\u00e9m jen 90 vyvolen\u00fdch.<\/p>\n<p>Pl\u00e1novan\u00e9 redukce obhajoval \u0161\u00e9f MOV Thomas Bach: \u201eProgram, kter\u00fd do Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017ee chyst\u00e1me, bude odr\u00e1\u017eet post-covidov\u00fd sv\u011bt. Chceme d\u00e1l redukovat n\u00e1klady a komplexnost po\u0159\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed olympijsk\u00fdch her. Tedy pokud nep\u0159ijede Ekv\u00e1dorec Carapaz a bez b\u00e1zn\u011b za\u00fato\u010d\u00ed na skupinu cyklistick\u00fdch megastar, kter\u00e9 se rad\u011bji budou d\u00edvat jedna na druhou, ne\u017e aby \u0161l\u00e1ply do ped\u00e1l\u016f a mohly myslet na zlato.<\/p>\n<p>A\u0165 bude efekt redukce respektive navy\u0161ov\u00e1n\u00ed velikosti pelotonu jak\u00fdkoliv, je 50 na 50 v\u00edtan\u00fd krok k genderov\u00e9 parit\u011b v silni\u010dn\u00ed cyklistice.
