Ale po jej\u00edm p\u0159epl\u00e1nov\u00e1n\u00ed na podzimn\u00ed term\u00edn bude slavn\u00e9 stoup\u00e1n\u00ed na Nibaliho rodn\u00e9m ostrov\u011b peloton vyhl\u00ed\u017eet v pond\u011bl\u00ed 5. \u0159\u00edjna.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Giro se na Etnu, kdy\u017e Sic\u00edlii nav\u0161t\u00edvilo v roce 1930 poprv\u00e9, kupodivu ne\u0161kr\u00e1balo. Vulk\u00e1n m\u011bl p\u0159esto dopad na podobu z\u00e1vodu, nebo l\u00e9pe \u0159e\u010deno na nakonec v\u00edt\u011bzn\u00e9ho cyklistu. Prvn\u00ed \u00fa\u010dast na Giru pro Luigiho Marchisia m\u00e1lem skon\u010dila p\u0159ed\u010dasn\u011b, kdy\u017e ho do oka zas\u00e1hl \u00falomek vulkanick\u00e9ho kamene ve chv\u00edli, kdy peloton proj\u00ed\u017ed\u011bl ve 2. etap\u011b po \u00fapat\u00ed sopky.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ztratit zrak je jedna v\u011bc, ale nevyhr\u00e1t Giro?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Jednadvacetilet\u00fd debutant, kdy\u017e tuto pot\u00ed\u017e p\u0159ekonal, dal\u0161\u00ed den ovl\u00e1dl etapu do Messiny. A pak udr\u017eel r\u016f\u017eov\u00fd trikot pro l\u00eddra z\u00e1vodu celou cestu a\u017e do Mil\u00e1na. A to p\u0159esto, \u017ee p\u00e1r dn\u016f po t\u00e9to sope\u010dn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edhod\u011b vypadal jako pir\u00e1t, proto\u017ee musel \u0161lapat s p\u00e1skou p\u0159es oko.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eV Palermu m\u011b o\u0161et\u0159oval specialista na o\u010dn\u00edm. A\u010dkoliv jen nap\u016fl, proto\u017ee jej\u00ed vrcholek se topil v ml\u017en\u00e9m oparu a sopka tak nevid\u011bla proj\u00ed\u017ed\u011bt tehdej\u0161\u00ed superstar Coppiho s Bartalim.<\/p>\n<p>A\u017e teprve p\u00e1t\u00e1 exkurze na mafi\u00e1nsk\u00fd ostrov p\u0159inesla putov\u00e1n\u00ed po svaz\u00edch sopky a byl to prvn\u00ed z p\u011bti dojezd\u016f na jej\u00edm vrcholku.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>1967: Revolta m\u00edsto erupce<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Giro tenkr\u00e1t podniklo dvoudenn\u00ed odbo\u010dku na Sic\u00edlii na konci zahajovac\u00edho t\u00fddne a 7. etapa se dr\u00e1pala 1892 metr\u016f vysoko do c\u00edle u Rifugio Sapienza. K o\u010dek\u00e1van\u00e9 erupci v pr\u016fb\u011b\u017en\u00e9m po\u0159ad\u00ed v\u0161ak nedo\u0161lo, m\u00edsto toho bal\u00edk \u0161lapal rozv\u00e1\u017en\u00fdm tempem, jak\u00fdm obvykle te\u010de l\u00e1va dol\u016f z kopce. A\u017e na posledn\u00edch t\u0159ech kilometrech etapy se rozho\u0159el z\u00e1vod, kter\u00e9mu dominoval Franco Bitossi, nicm\u00e9n\u011b titulky novin n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00ed den sp\u00ed\u0161e ne\u017e jeho rozeb\u00edraly pr\u00e1v\u011b revoltu pelotonu. Den\u00edk La Stampa popisoval, jak u silnice na Etnu post\u00e1vali fandov\u00e9 s transparenty: Grazie Torriani! \u201eI my m\u016f\u017eeme,\u201c psal pak italsk\u00fd list, \u201ep\u0159idat svoje d\u00edky Torrianimu. To na\u0161e ale bude o n\u011bco ironi\u010dt\u011bj\u0161\u00ed.\u201c<\/p>\n<h2><strong>1989: Sprint do vrchu<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mezit\u00edm se Giro na Sic\u00edlii vr\u00e1tilo n\u011bkolikr\u00e1t, ale trvalo 22 let, ne\u017e po\u0159adatel\u00e9 namalovali c\u00edlovou \u010d\u00e1ru etapy na vrcholu Etny.<\/p>\n<p>Ten rok Giro na Sic\u00edlii startovalo a po rovinat\u00e9 etap\u011b z Taorminy do Catanie se hned druh\u00fd den konala p\u0159ehl\u00eddka favorit\u016f p\u0159i vrcholov\u00e9m dojezdu. D\u0159ina v\u0161ak kon\u010dila u\u017e 1302 metr\u016f vysoko a tento \u201esprint\u201c, jak ho naz\u00fdvali report\u00e9\u0159i, ovl\u00e1dl Acacio Da Silva.<\/p>\n<p>Je\u0161t\u011b v posledn\u00edm kilometru se v \u010dele dr\u017eela dvacetihlav\u00e1 skupinka, ale 300 metr\u016f od c\u00edle Portugalec p\u0159edvedl erupci s\u00edly a porazil i nakonec v z\u00e1vod\u011b v\u00edt\u011bzn\u00e9ho Laurenta Fignona, francouzsk\u00e9ho \u201eprofesora\u201c v br\u00fdli\u010dk\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2011: Triumf, kter\u00fd neplatil<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>V 21. stolet\u00ed se Etna stala pro Giro frekventovan\u011bj\u0161\u00ed destinac\u00ed. Dojezd na jej\u00edm vrcholu v roce 2011 se trefil do doby, kdy horu mnoho z favorit\u016f celkov\u00e9ho po\u0159ad\u00ed vyu\u017e\u00edvalo jako lokalitu pro tr\u00e9ninkov\u00e9 kempy. Ale proto\u017ee o trestu nebylo rozhodnuto, mohl d\u00e1l z\u00e1vodit. A na Etn\u011b demonstroval svoji s\u00edlu, proto\u017ee v\u0161em nastoupil 6 kilometr\u016f pod vrcholem zdrcuj\u00edc\u00ed akcelerac\u00ed a c\u00edlem projel 50 sekund p\u0159ed dom\u00e1c\u00edm Nibalim, kter\u00fd se na dohled sopky narodil.<\/p>\n<p>\u0160pan\u011blsk\u00fd pistoln\u00edk obl\u00e9kl po etap\u011b Maglia Rosa a nikomu u\u017e ho a\u017e do Mil\u00e1na nep\u016fj\u010dil. A\u017e v b\u0159eznu 2012 ho musel svl\u00e9knout, kdy\u017e mu cyklistick\u00e1 justice vym\u011b\u0159ila zp\u011btn\u011b dvoulet\u00fd trest a t\u00edm mu sebrala triumfy na inkriminovan\u00e9 Tour i Giru 2011.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2017: Sicilsk\u00e1 st\u0159elba slep\u00fdmi <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>V\u0161echny zraky se, kdy\u017e Giro najelo ve 4. etap\u011b do svah\u016f Etny, up\u00edraly na dom\u00e1c\u00edho mil\u00e1\u010dka Nibaliho. V deseti letech poprv\u00e9 na vulk\u00e1n \u0161plhal na kole. A nyn\u00ed, o 22 let pozd\u011bji, se \u010dekalo, \u017ee tento kruh uzav\u0159e v\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00edm v etap\u011b.<\/p>\n<p>Tentokr\u00e1t cesta k Rifugio Sapienza vedla tou hor\u0161\u00ed stranou, kdy cesta z Nicolosi na sv\u00fdch 18 kilometrech dos\u00e1hne a\u017e 12procentn\u00edho sklonu. Nibali zrychlil \u010dty\u0159i kilometry od konce dne a testoval si tak rivala Quintanu. Ale etapa nakonec pat\u0159ila osamocen\u00e9mu uprchl\u00edkovi Janu Polancovi. Slovinec byl \u010dlenem celodenn\u00edho \u00faniku, sv\u00e9 souputn\u00edky utrhl na za\u010d\u00e1tku stoup\u00e1n\u00ed a na jeho vrchol si p\u0159ivezl 19sekundovou v\u00fdhodu na Rusa Zakarina.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2018: V\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00ed se smutn\u00fdm koncem<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Proto\u017ee o\u010dek\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed dramatu v p\u0159edchoz\u00edm roce bylo vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e realita, p\u0159ivedl \u0159editel Gira Vegni sv\u016fj z\u00e1vod na sopku znovu. Jinou, n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed cestou a s c\u00edlem o n\u011bco v\u00fd\u0161e. A\u017e u astrofyzick\u00e9 observato\u0159e 1736 metr\u016f vysoko. Etna znovu p\u0159i\u0161la na program v \u010dasn\u00e9 f\u00e1zi z\u00e1vodu. Dojel sv\u00e9ho t\u00fdmov\u00e9ho kolegu Chavese, kter\u00fd p\u0159edt\u00edm \u0161lapal v \u00faniku, p\u0159edjel ho a sp\u011bchal za v\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00edm. Duo st\u00e1je Mitchelton-Scott m\u011blo v c\u00edli v\u00fdhodu 26 sekund a Yates obl\u00e9kl r\u016f\u017eovou.<\/p>\n<p>Byl to v\u0161ak jen p\u0159edkrm toho, co m\u011blo p\u0159ij\u00edt \u2013 Yates nakonec z\u00edskal v ro\u010dn\u00edku t\u0159i etapy, v\u0161echny v dresu l\u00eddra.
